Siauliai's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Dzukija (1-4) 71-60. The hosts were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 28-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. Siauliai made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Dzukija was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Paulius Dambrauskas (192-85) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Mike Scott (183-93, college: Idaho, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in 10 points during the contest. Five Dzukija players scored in double figures. Siauliai left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Dzukija and Nevezis. Siauliai will play against higher ranked P.Zvaigzdes (#7) in Pasvalys in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dzukija will play on the road against Nevezis in Kedainiai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
