Regular Season Round 6: Sokol Pisek - Sokol Prazky 77-59

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Sokol Prazky (3-3) lost on the road to seventh ranked Sokol Pisek (3-3) 77-59 on Friday. It was a good game for swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Guard Radek Vartecky (186-94) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Center Jan Stepanek (190-83) replied with 20 points and center Jiri Bruha (210-86) added 5 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Sokol Prazky. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Pisek moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with Sokol Prazky and Slavoj Litom. Sokol Pisek will face Slavoj BK Litomerice (#6) on the road in the next round. Sokol Prazky will play against Kara Trutnov and hope to win that game.
