Regular Season Round 3: Karpos Sokoli - Kumanovo 90-83

An exciting game was played in Skopje. Karpos Sokoli faced Kumanovo 2009. Host Karpos Sokoli (3-0) defeated guests from Kumanovo (1-2) 90-83. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-83. It was a great evening for Serbian center Dusan Knezevic (207-80, agency: BeoExcell) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) helped adding 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Uros Lukovic (213-89) with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and international forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Karpos Sokoli will meet Kozuv (#5) in the next round. Kumanovo 2009 will play against Best Gevgelija and hope to win that game.
