Regular Season Round 7: KFUM Uppsala - LF Future 86-89

Important game to mention about took place in Uppsala. Leader LF Future (5-0) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed KFUM Uppsala (3-1) 89-86 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KFUM Uppsala. It looked good early as KFUM Uppsala took a 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then LF Future took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 3 points. It was an exceptional evening for guard Joel Svensson (185-94) who led the winners and scored 30 points. Point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) accounted for 19 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Swingman Anes Zekovic (195-95) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Oliver Ehrnvall (197-96) added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for KFUM Uppsala in the defeat. Four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. KFUM Uppsala's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. LF Future have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. KFUM Uppsala at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. LF Future will play against Jarfalla (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. KFUM Uppsala will play against KFUM Blackeberg in Vallingby and hopes to get back on the winning track.
