They made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Neptunas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Lietkabelis was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American Daniel Ewing (191-83, college: Duke) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Jerai Grant (203-89, college: Clemson) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Five Neptunas players scored in double figures. Neptunas' coach Dainius Adomaitis allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St.) came up with 24 points and forward Arnas Labuckas (205-87, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Lietkabelis in the defeat. Neptunas (3-3) moved-up to fourth place. Lietkabelis at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Nevezis and P.Zvaigzdes. Neptunas will play against league's second-placed Lietuvos rytas in Vilnius in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lietkabelis will play on the road against Siauliai (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
