Regular Season Round 8: SBS Ostrava - Karlovy Vary 57-77

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Karlovy Vary's (4-4) road victory over 9th ranked SBS Ostrava (2-6) 77-57. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dana Kuslitova (182-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and center Julia Reisingerova (194-98) who added 20 points during the contest. American Vee Young (186-89, college: Martin Methodist) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian guard Latinka Dusanic (178-90) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Karlovy Vary moved-up to seventh place. SBS Ostrava lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Slovanka MB and VS Praha. Karlovy Vary will play against USK Praha (#8) at home in the next round. SBS Ostrava will play against VS Praha and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
