Regular Season Round 6: Kara Trutnov - Basket Kosice 87-70

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked Kara Trutnov (2-4) beat at home 8th ranked Basket Kosice (1-4) 87-70 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Kara Trutnov especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a good game for point guard Ladislav Maly (181-84) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Jakub Kasa (200-92) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Kara Trutnov players scored in double figures. Forward Jakub Zavadil (205-85) replied with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Slovakian forward Miroslav Vansa (197-87) added 17 points in the effort for Basket Kosice. Kara Trutnov moved-up to eighth place in Group A. Newly promoted Basket Kosice dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Kara Trutnov will face higher ranked Sokol Prazky (#7) in Praha in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Basket Kosice will play at home against the league's leader Nymburk B where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
