The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Basketbal Svitavy as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Basketbal Svitavy defeated one of their biggest challengers BK Pardubice at home 84-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of BK Pardubice. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 40-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 26 personal fouls committed by BK Pardubice helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Basketbal Svitavy have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. BK Pardubice at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. BK Pardubice will play next round against BK Kolin trying to get back on the winning streak. Basketbal Svitavy will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Prostejov on the road.
