The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Easo's (2-1) home victory over bottom-ranked La Fecha (0-3) in San Sebastian 77-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Easo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. La Fecha was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Inigo Del Valle (188-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Manex Eizmendi (200-92) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Easo players scored in double figures. Center Hector Parras (198-89) replied with 9 points and 7 rebounds and Jorge Martinez added 10 points in the effort for La Fecha. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Easo moved-up to fourth place in Group A-A, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted La Fecha still closes the standings with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
