Regular Season Round 7: BK Decin - USK Praha 80-66

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked BK Decin as it allowed them to take a leadership position. BK Decin defeated 10th ranked USK Praha at home 80-66. The game was mostly controlled by BK Decin. USK Praha managed to win fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BK Decin looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Filip Kroutil (185-96) fired 21 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. International guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four BK Decin players scored in double figures. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Michal Mares (192-92) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Lukas Festr (185-94) added 8 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. BK Decin (5-1) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with BK Opava. USK Praha lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with five games lost. They share the position with MMCITE Brno. USK Praha will play next round against BK Lions Hradec trying to get back on the winning streak. BK Decin will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked NH Ostrava on the road.
