Regular Season Round 6: Andorra II - Castelldefels 68-78

There was a surprise result when sixth ranked Castelldefels (3-3) won against on the road second-best Andorra II (3-3) 78-68 on Saturday. The game without a history. Castelldefels led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Castelldefels forced 25 Andorra II turnovers. Andorra II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for guard Marc Sese (188-93) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. Guard Jaume Torres (187-83) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Center Cinto Gabriel (199-87) replied with 18 points and forward Oriol Fernandez (186-88) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for Andorra II. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Castelldefels moved-up to second place in Group C-B, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Andorra II. Castelldefels will face Martorell (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Andorra II will play against Santfeliuenc (#4) in Sant Feliu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
