Regular Season Round 4: Kozuv - Karpos Sokoli 81-92

Prva Liga top team - Karpos Sokoli (4-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Kozuv (1-3) in Gevgelija 92-81. The game was mostly controlled by Karpos Sokoli. Kozuv was better in second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a quality performance of Serbian Aleksandar Petrovic (203-87, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Glen Dandridge (198-85, college: Lambuth) who added 21 points during the contest. Four Karpos Sokoli players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bosnian-Serbian point guard Aleksej Nesovic (189-85, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 25 points and 5 assists and American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: HMS) scored 21 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Karpos Sokoli have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Kozuv lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Strumica. Karpos Sokoli will play against Feni Industries (#4) in Kavadarci in the next round. Kozuv's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Gevgelija to the arena Best Gevgelija.
