Regular Season Round 5: Polfarmex KT - Siarka 77-60

Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Stabill Jezioro (3-2) lost to fourth ranked AZS Polfarmex (5-1) in Kutno 60-77 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by AZS Polfarmex. Stabill Jezioro was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international Bartlomiej Woloszyn (196-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. Canadian center Michael Fraser (203-84, college: Oklah.Baptist) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. AZS Polfarmex's coach Jaroslaw Krysiewicz used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Gary Bell (190-92, college: Gonzaga) answered with 22 points and Daniel Wall (196-82, agency: Promotex) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Stabill Jezioro. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for AZS Polfarmex. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Torun. Loser Stabill Jezioro keeps the seventh position with two games lost. AZS Polfarmex will face Polpharma (#13) in Starogard in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Stabill Jezioro will play at home against the league's leader Stelmet (#1) and hope to win that game.
