The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Bball Olomouc (6-2) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Sokol Hradec Kralove (6-2) 83-78. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Bball Olomouc. It was a key game for the top position in Group B. They outrebounded Bball Olomouc 42-22 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by point guard Tomas Macela (178-88) who scored that evening 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and power forward Tomas Kirsbaum (205-82) supported him with 21 points. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by center Jakub Sedlak (209-89) did not help to save the game for Bball Olomouc. Swingman Marek Sehnal (195-96) added 16 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sokol Hradec Kralove keeps a position of Group B leader, which they share with defeated Bball Olomouc. Sokol Hradec Kralove will meet at home Havirov (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bball Olomouc will play against Vysocina (#6) in Jihlava and hope to secure a win.
