Regular Season Round 9: Arsenal - Jaroslav 67-59

Rather predictable result in Tula where seventh ranked Arsenal (4-5) defeated 9th ranked Jaroslav (2-7) 67-59 on Saturday. Arsenal made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Jaroslav turnovers. The best player for the winners was Stanislav Dubinin (196-90) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Mikhail Yudov (199-89) chipped in 4 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Alexander Fomin (206-86, agency: Alti Sport) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and center Artem Moskin (201-91) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Arsenal moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Sojuz Zaretchny. Jaroslav at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Arsenal will again meet at home Jaroslav (#9) in the next round. Jaroslav will have a break next round.
