Regular Season Round 7: Horsholm - SISU 56-71

SISU can celebrate finally their first win this season after seven consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Horsholm, where they defeated Horsholm (1-6) 71-56. The game was mostly controlled by SISU. Horsholm was better in third quarter 13-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Devin Cherry (190-92, college: Cornell) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard August Haas (180-97) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four SISU players scored in double figures. American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) answered with 8 points and 9 rebounds and American-Nigerian forward Anali Okoloji (203-90, college: E.Michigan, agency: Duran International) added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Horsholm. Horsholm's coach Rafael Monclova tested twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SISU maintains eighth place with 1-7 record. It was Horsholm's fifth loss in a row. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. SISU will play against higher ranked Stevnsgade (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Horsholm will play against Svendborg to get more than just one victory in their record.
