Regular Season Round 5: TTU - Tarvas 57-74

Bottom-ranked TTU is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to third ranked BC Rakvere (3-1) 74-57 on Tuesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by BC Rakvere. TTU managed to win fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TTU 45-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. Latvian Roberts Stumbris (194-93) nailed 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Serbian swingman Maksim Kovacevic (196-87, agency: Alti Sport) accounted for 13 points and 5 assists. Four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. Forward Toomas Raadik (201-90, agency: Promotex) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) added 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for TTU in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BC Rakvere maintains third place with 3-1 record behind leader Liepaja/Triobet. Loser TTU still closes the standings with six games lost. BC Rakvere will meet league's leader Liepaja/Triobet on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TTU will have a break next round.
