Regular Season Round 3: TTT Riga - Dynamo M. 71-58

No shocking result in a game when Latvian TTT Riga (3-0) defeated at home Russian Dynamo Moscow (1-2) 71-58 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by TTT Riga. Dynamo Moscow was better in fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American forward Kristen Mann (185-83, college: UCSB, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Her fellow American import point guard Sydney Carter (170-90, college: Texas A&M, agency: Ronsport) chipped in 16 points and 4 steals. TTT Riga's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Kazakhstan-Russian power forward Ksenia Tikhonenko (192-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and center Alexandra Kulicheva (191-87, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively. TTT Riga will face Orduspor on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dynamo Moscow will play against Udominate and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
