Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Meliksah (3-4) lost to sixth ranked Eskisehir Basket (5-2) in Kayseri 72-76 on Friday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-72. American players dominated also this game. Quite impressive performance for point guard Leemire Goldwire (184-85, college: Charlotte, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jeremy Ingram (190-92, college: N.C.Central) answered with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Curtis Kelly (205-88, college: Kansas St., agency: HMS) added 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Meliksah. Four Meliksah players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Eskisehir Basket. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sakarya BSB and Akhisar Bld. Loser Meliksah keeps the tenth position with four games lost. Eskisehir Basket will face Akhisar Bld (#4) at home in the next round. Meliksah will play against Mamak DSI (#14) in Ankara and hope to win that game.
