Regular Season Round 11: BK Decin - Svitavy 68-63

NBL top team - BK Decin (9-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Basketbal Svitavy (5-5) 68-63. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Basketbal Svitavy won fourth quarter 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. International guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Jakub Houska (207-82) contributed with 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Nicchaeus Doaks (201-87, college: Chattanooga, agency: HMS) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Canadian center Riley Barker (208-92, college: Portland) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Basketbal Svitavy. BK Decin have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. Basketbal Svitavy lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with BK Kolin. BK Decin are looking forward to face BK Kolin (#5) at home in the next round. Basketbal Svitavy will play against BK Lions Hradec and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
