Very predictable result when third ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (7-3) defeated at home 13th ranked ETB Wohnbau (3-7) 91-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Oettinger Rockets Gotha. ETB Wohnbau was better in third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oettinger Rockets Gotha made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game. Oettinger Rockets Gotha outrebounded ETB Wohnbau 33-20 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. ETB Wohnbau was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Oettinger Rockets Gotha maintains third position with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Jena, which they share with Kirchheim. Loser ETB Wohnbau keeps the thirteenth place with seven games lost. Oettinger Rockets Gotha will face Kirchheim Knights (#4) on the road in the next round. ETB Wohnbau will play against Baunach (#10) and hope to win that game.
