Regular Season Round 11: J.Hradec - BK Pardubice 79-98

No shocking result in a game when third ranked BK Pardubice (8-3) crushed bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec (2-9) in J.Hradec 98-79 on Monday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 98-79. BK Pardubice outrebounded BK Lions Hradec 40-28 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian Dusan Pandula (196-84) who led the winners and scored 31 points. American guard Levell Sanders (189-75, college: Seton Hall) accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Center Tomas Voslajer (211-90) came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American swingman Josh Nofflet (194-88, college: Lee) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for BK Lions Hradec in the defeat. Four BK Lions Hradec players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BK Pardubice moved-up to second place. BK Lions Hradec lost their eighth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. BK Pardubice will meet BK Opava (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. BK Lions Hradec will play against Basketbal Svitavy (#6) and hope to secure a win.
