Regular Season Round 10: Kondori Lib. - Sokol Prazky 55-77

Bottom-ranked BK Kondori Liberec (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 77-55 loss to third ranked Sokol Prazky (6-3) in Liberec on Friday evening. Matej Kohout (193-94) scored 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and center Jan Stepanek (190-83) chipped in 14 points during the contest. Sokol Prazky's coach Vladimir Vyoral felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side power forward Jiri Kejmar (200-92) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and center Tomas Bim (202-95) scored 17 points. Sokol Prazky have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group A with 6-3 record having just three points less than leader Sokol H.K., which they share with USK Praha B. Loser BK Kondori Liberec still closes the standings with ten games lost. Sokol Prazky will meet at home Basket Kosice (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. BK Kondori Liberec will play against Slavoj BK Litomerice and hopes to get finally their first victory.
