Very predictable result in Dabrowa Gornicza where seventh ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (4-4) beat bottom-ranked MKS DG 2 (0-8) 75-71 on Saturday. Strangely MKS DG 2 outrebounded MCKiS Jaworz. 41-29 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Wojciech Zub (185-95) chipped in 15 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Mateusz Szczypinski (193-98) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds and Jakub Wantuch (195-98) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. MKS DG 2's coach Rafal Knap tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MCKiS Jaworz. moved-up to fifth place in Group C, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser MKS DG 2 still closes the standings with eight games lost.
