Regular Season Round 9: Rosalia - Naron 94-101

Everything went according to plan in Santiago de Camp. where third ranked Naron (3-5) won against bottom-ranked Rosalia (0-4) 101-94 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 29-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Dylan Sparkman (208, college: Ill.-Springfield, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 17-of-20 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Brantley Osborne (193-91, college: Shepherd) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists. Osborne is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) who recorded 31 points and forward Pablo Posse (203-89) added 13 points and 15 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Naron went down to fifth position (Group A-B) due to points difference. Rosalia lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Naron will face Utrera (#8) at home in the next round. Rosalia will play against the league's second-placed Chantada (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
