Regular Season Round 10: Koping - Trelleborg 91-67

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Trelleborg (3-4) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Koping (5-2) 91-67 on Sunday. The game without a history. Koping led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American guard Ronnie Boggs (193-91, college: Jacksonville St.) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Kevin Grant (191-94) chipped in 27 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Koping players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Papy Ndiaye (187-94) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian power forward Tadas Kvederavicius (200-90) scored 17 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koping moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Talje and KFUM Uppsala. Trelleborg at the other side keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Koping will face Boras II (#6) at home in the next round. Trelleborg will play against Wetterbygden and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
