Regular Season Round 6: BC Odessa - Dnipro 43-105

Superleague top team - Dnipro (5-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked BC Odessa (0-5) 105-43. The game without a history. Dnipro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BC Odessa to just 5 points in third and fourth quarters. Dnipro held BC Odessa to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.7 percent accuracy of the winners and made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Dnipro outrebounded BC Odessa 50-36 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Center Vladislav Korenyuk (210-94) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Andrii Myronenko (198-94) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Oleksandr Rychlyuk (208-84) with 12 points and 8 rebounds and center Vadim Matyukevych (209-80) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dnipro have an impressive five-game winning streak. Dnipro will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Odessa will play at home against the league's second-placed Halychyna (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
