Very important is a road loss of second ranked Boras Basket (7-3) against fourth ranked Sundsvall Dragons (7-3) on Friday night. Visiting Boras Basket was crushed by Sundsvall Dragons in Sundsvall 92-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boras Basket. The game was mostly controlled by Sundsvall Dragons. Boras Basket managed to win second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international point guard Charles Barton (193-92, college: Oregon St.) notched 23 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Icelandic power forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) supported him with 8 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 16 points and 5 assists by the former international Christian Maraker (207-82, college: Pacific) did not help to save the game for Boras Basket. Croatian forward Toni Vitali (203-91) added 14 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Sundsvall Dragons have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Norrkoping and Boras. Sundsvall Dragons will meet at home Norrkoping Dolphins (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
