Regular Season Round 11: VK VSB Ost. - Olomouc 60-88

There was no surprise in Ostrava where 10th ranked VK VSB Ost. (3-8) was outplayed by second ranked Bball Olomouc (8-3) 88-60 on Friday. It was a great evening for swingman Marek Sehnal (195-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. Jiri Dedek (190-95) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Bball Olomouc players scored in double figures. Forward Adam Urbanek (195-93) responded with 20 points and Jan Leczo (197-96) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bball Olomouc maintains second place in Group B with 8-3 record behind leader Sokol H.K., which they share with Opava B. Loser VK VSB Ost. keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Bball Olomouc will face Pardubice (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. VK VSB Ost. will play against B&W Opava B and hope to win that game.
