Regular Season Round 11: Sokol Prazky - Basket Kosice 75-49

Very expected game in Praha where 8th ranked Basket Kosice (4-6) was crushed by third ranked Sokol Prazky (7-3) 75-49 on Friday. It was a great evening for power forward Jakub Tomas (200-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Tomas Gavenda (182) helped adding 6 points and 4 assists. Center Matej Schinko (208-91) responded with 7 points and 6 rebounds and point guard David Zach (185-93) scored 4 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Sokol Prazky. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with USK Praha B. Newly promoted Basket Kosice keeps the eighth position with six games lost. Sokol Prazky will face league's leader Nymburk B on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Basket Kosice will play against Slavoj BK Litomerice (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
