Very important is a road loss of second ranked Malaysian KL Dragons (4-2) against fourth ranked Vietnamese Saigon Heat (2-3) on Saturday night. Visiting KL Dragons were defeated by Saigon Heat in a tough game in Saigon 82-91. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KL Dragons. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Saigon Heat forced 23 KL Dragons turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American-Thailand Moses Morgan (198, college: CS Fullerton) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American Lenny Daniel (203-87, college: CS Northridge) accounted for 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Canadian guard Matthew Wright (193-91, college: St.Bonaventure) came up with 24 points and Filipino-American point guard Jason Brickman (181-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) added 14 points and 10 assists respectively for KL Dragons in the defeat. Five Saigon Heat and four KL Dragons players scored in double figures. Saigon Heat maintains fourth place with 2-3 record. Loser KL Dragons dropped to the third position with two games lost. Saigon Heat will meet at home league's leader Hitech in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KL Dragons will play against Mono Vampire and hope to secure a win.
