No shocking result in a game in Kauhajoki where fourth ranked Kauhajoen Karhu (7-5) defeated 9th ranked BC Nokia (4-8) 114-109. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Kauhajoen Karhu made 34-of-37 charity shots (91.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. BC Nokia was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Bosnian guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 assists. American forward Lawrence Kinnard (203-86, college: UAB) contributed with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Vincent Simpson (185-88, college: Hampton) answered with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import forward David Kravish (208-92, college: California) added 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for BC Nokia. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. BC Nokia's coach Oliver Vidin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kauhajoen Karhu have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 7-5 record, which they share with Helsinki Seagulls. BC Nokia lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
