Cento (#5) was upset in Piombino by eighth ranked Piombino 72-61. They made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Cento was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Mattia Venucci (185-90) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and swingman Salvatore Genovese (198-87, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 12 points and 9 rebounds by power forward Michele Benfatto (205-85) did not help to save the game for Cento. Forward Lorenzo D'Alessandro (198-96) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for lost side.
