Very important is a road loss of second ranked BK Loko Plzen (7-4) against sixth ranked Sparta Praha (6-5) on Sunday night. Visiting BK Loko Plzen was defeated by Sparta Praha in a tough game in Praha 71-75. Sparta Praha looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian swingman Djordje Dimitrijevic (192-97) who scored 28 points and 8 assists. Center David Jelinek (200-97) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). point guard Vaclav Honomichl (186-92) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Jaroslav Kovanda (203-82) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Sparta Praha moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with Slavoj Litom. Loser BK Loko Plzen dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Sparta Praha will meet Kara Trutnov (#9) on the road in the next round. BK Loko Plzen will play against Sokol Pisek (#7) and hope to secure a win.
