Top ranked United (11-4) recorded its fourth loss in Gwynneville on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Illawarra Hawks (7-6) 102-87. The game without a history. Illawarra Hawks led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Illawarra Hawks made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American-Italian guard Kevin Lisch (188-86, college: St.Louis) who scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. New Zealand swingman Kirk Penney (196-80, college: Wisconsin, agency: Duran International) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists.
