Regular Season Round 15: Prostejov - BK Decin 67-68

The most exciting game of round 15 in the NBL took place in Prostejov. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd placed Prostejov (9-5) to first ranked BK Decin (12-1) 68-67 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Prostejov. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 21-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for the former international Jakub Houska (207-82) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. International guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92) helped adding 10 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was naturalized Slovakian Roman Marko (194-86) with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Lukas Palyza (202-89) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BK Decin have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Prostejov at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with BK Opava. BK Decin are looking forward to face BK Lions Hradec (#7) in J.Hradec in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Prostejov will play at home against the league's second-placed BK Pardubice (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
