Regular Season Round 13: Maurienne - Quimper 83-53

Everything went according to plan in Aix-les-Bains where fifth ranked Aix-Maurienne (8-4) outscored 13th ranked Quimper UJAP (5-8) 83-53 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Aix-Maurienne. Quimper UJAP was better in fourth quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Quimper UJAP to just 5 points in third quarter. Aix-Maurienne looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Quimper UJAP's players. Aix-Maurienne moved-up to fourth place. Loser Quimper UJAP dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Aix-Maurienne will face GET Vosges (#8) in Golbey in the next round. Quimper UJAP will play at home against the league's leader ADA Blois (#1) and hope to win that game.
