Regular Season Round 18: Delikatesas - Petrochema 70-81

Rather predictable result in Joniskis where seventh ranked Petrochema (10-8) defeated 9th ranked Delikatesas (7-11) 81-70. It looked good early as Delikatesas took a 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Petrochema took control winning two of next three quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 11 points. It was a good game for forward Tomas Milinskas (202-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (185-85) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Petrochema's coach Kestutis Narusevicius allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Sarunas Kulevicius (191-89) replied with 10 points and 8 assists and power forward Rokas Cepanonis (207-89) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Delikatesas. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Petrochema moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Delikatesas lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. Petrochema's next round opponent will be Palanga (#6) on the road. Delikatesas will play against Nafta-Uni.
