Regular Season Round 12: Kara Trutnov - GBA Sparta 72-80

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Kara Trutnov (3-8) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Sparta Praha (7-5) 80-72 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Serbian swingman Djordje Dimitrijevic (192-97) who scored 21 points. Slovakian forward Matej Drgon (195-98) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Sparta Praha players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Jakub Kasa (200-92) who recorded 25 points and 8 rebounds and forward Richard Musel (208-96) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Sparta Praha moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Loko Plzen and Slavoj Litom. Kara Trutnov lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Sparta Praha will face Sokol Pisek (#7) on the road in the next round. Kara Trutnov will play against BK Kondori Liberec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
