There was no surprise in Ruda Slaska where 10th ranked AZS AWF M. II (3-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Pogon RS (5-5) 83-73 on Monday. Pogon RS made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Guard Adam Wilkin (194-83) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Tomasz Stankala (202-91) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side Bartosz Stawowski (187-89) responded with 14 points and 9 assists and swingman Maciej Dalak (189-95) scored 9 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pogon RS moved-up to sixth place in Group C, which they share with Alba Chorzow and Zaglebie.
