Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Basketbal Svitavy (7-9) was outscored on the road by fourth ranked BK Pardubice (11-6) 88-58 on Wednesday. The game without a history. BK Pardubice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Basketbal Svitavy's 34. They outrebounded Basketbal Svitavy 45-24 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. BK Pardubice looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international forward Radek Necas (206-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 6 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Ondrej Kohout (204-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Canadian point guard Jahmal Jones (183-91) answered with 16 points and forward Martin Vanak (198-87) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Basketbal Svitavy. Basketbal Svitavy's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. BK Pardubice moved-up to third place. Loser Basketbal Svitavy keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. BK Pardubice will face BK Kolin (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Basketbal Svitavy will play against the league's second-placed Prostejov and hope to win that game.
