Regular Season Round 13: VK VSB Ost. - MMCITE Brno 2 85-93

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked MMCITE Brno 2 (7-5) defeated 10th ranked VK VSB Ost. (3-10) in Ostrava 93-85 on Friday. MMCITE Brno 2 forced 21 VK VSB Ost. turnovers. Quite impressive performance for forward Martin Muller (194-94) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Swingman Michal Jedovnicky (194-95) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five MMCITE Brno 2 players scored in double figures. Forward Adam Urbanek (195-93) answered with 30 points and 9 rebounds and Jan Leczo (197-96) added 25 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for VK VSB Ost.Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. MMCITE Brno 2 maintains fourth place in Group B with 7-5 record. VK VSB Ost. lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. MMCITE Brno 2 will face league's second-placed B&W Opava B at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. VK VSB Ost. will play against the league's leader Sokol Hradec Kralove (#1) and hope to win that game.
