Regular Season Round 13: Kondori Lib. - Kara Trutnov 87-80

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Kara Trutnov (3-9) lost on the road to tenth ranked BK Kondori Liberec (2-11) 87-80 on Friday. BK Kondori Liberec shot 60.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. It was a very good performance for power forward Jiri Kejmar (200-92) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Point guard Michal Honzak (190-94) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Center Jakub Kasa (200-92) answered with 21 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Ladislav Maly (181-84) added 19 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) in the effort for Kara Trutnov. BK Kondori Liberec maintains tenth place in Group A with 2-11 record. Kara Trutnov lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. BK Kondori Liberec will face higher ranked Basket Kosice (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
