NBL top team - BK Decin (14-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked USK Praha (8-8) 59-53. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of USK Praha. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. BK Decin had a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Jiri Jelinek (203-87) notched a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and international guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92) supported him with 14 points. Four BK Decin players scored in double figures. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 11 points by swingman Michal Mares (192-92) did not help to save the game for USK Praha. Bosnian forward Admir Alic (197-84) added 11 points. BK Decin maintains first position with 14-2 record. USK Praha at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. BK Decin will play against NH Ostrava (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. USK Praha will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and hopes to get back on the winning track.
