The game in Radom was also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Energa Czarni (7-3) played at the court of sixth ranked Rosa (7-3). Rosa did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 79-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Energa Czarni. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Rosa's pressure prevailed and they won that period 27-12 extending their advantage to 19 points. They made 29-of-35 charity shots (82.9 percent) during the game, while Energa Czarni only scored twelve points from the stripe. They outrebounded Energa Czarni 42-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Energa Czarni was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Torey Thomas (178-85, college: Holy Cross) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Rosa's coach Wojciech Kaminski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, college: Cincinnati) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American swingman Folarin Campbell (189-86, college: George Mason) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Rosa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Energa Czarni. Rosa will play against Stabill Jezioro (#12) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Energa Czarni will play at home against Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
