Regular Season Round 19: BK Kolin - Svitavy 84-58

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked BK Kolin's (7-10) home victory over 7th ranked Basketbal Svitavy (7-11) 84-58 on Wednesday. The game without a history. BK Kolin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Basketbal Svitavy's players. It was a great evening for American swingman Chris McEachin (198-89, college: Norfolk St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Lee Skinner (198-92, college: Wofford) helped adding 9 points and 7 rebounds. Coach Predrag Benacek's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side Canadian center Riley Barker (208-92, college: Portland) responded with 9 points and 11 rebounds and Canadian point guard Jahmal Jones (183-91) scored 15 points. BK Kolin have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 7-10 record. Basketbal Svitavy lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. BK Kolin will meet league's second-placed Prostejov on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Basketbal Svitavy will play against MMCITE Brno (#11) and hope to secure a win.
