Regular Season Round 13: Meliksah - Adanaspor 68-70

A very interesting game took place in Kayseri. It ended with only two-point home defeat of higher ranked Meliksah (4-9) to seventeenth ranked Adanaspor (3-10) 70-68 on Friday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Meliksah won third quarter 21-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) fired 29 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV, agency: Ali Guney BA) chipped in 16 points. Adanaspor's coach Timucin Meric allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Jeremy Ingram (190-92, college: N.C.Central) produced 19 points and forward Orcun Okkali (201-87) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Adanaspor moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Bandirma Kir. Meliksah at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with nine games lost. Adanaspor's next round opponent will be higher ranked Akhisar Bld (#9) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
