There was a small surprise when tenth ranked BK Kondori Liberec (3-11) defeated on the road 8th ranked Basket Kosice (4-10) 91-79 on Friday. Power forward Jiri Kejmar (200-92) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Michal Honzak (190-94) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four BK Kondori Liberec players scored in double figures. Slovakian forward Miroslav Vansa (197-87) responded with 26 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Jan Nekolny (192-91) scored 11 points. BK Kondori Liberec have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain tenth position in Group A with 3-11 record. Basket Kosice lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. BK Kondori Liberec will face higher ranked Nymburk B (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
