Regular Season Round 14: Pardubice - Zlin 92-57

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Pardubice (5-7) outscored at home 5th ranked SKB Zlin (6-7) 92-57 on Friday. Pardubice dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to SKB Zlin's 36. Pardubice forced 21 SKB Zlin turnovers and outrebounded them 51-32 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by SKB Zlin's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pardubice made 7 blocks. Despite that victory Pardubice went down to seventh position (Group B) due to points difference. Loser SKB Zlin keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Pardubice will face higher ranked Vysocina (#6) in Jihlava in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SKB Zlin will play at home against Sokol Slapnice and hope to win that game.
