The game in Bratislava supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked MBK Ruzomberok (12-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Slovan (5-11). MBK Ruzomberok smashed Slovan 82-58. It looked good early as Slovan took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then MBK Ruzomberok had a 23-13 second period charge getting the lead and Slovan was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 58-82. MBK Ruzomberok dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Slovan's 30. MBK Ruzomberok forced 19 Slovan turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Katarina Tetemondova (188-88) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Timea Sujova (173-84) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. MBK Ruzomberok's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Renata Talajkova (189-81) replied with 11 points and 8 rebounds and guard Lena Slezarikova (175-93) added 16 points in the effort for Slovan. MBK Ruzomberok have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-4 record having four points less than leader Good Angels. Slovan at the other side dropped to the fifth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Banska Bystrica. MBK Ruzomberok will play against Samorin (#4) at home in the next round. Slovan will play against the league's second-placed Piestanske C. in Piestany and hopes to get back on the winning track.
